Picture Perfect Gallery

Directions and hours: from north or south: from Garden State Parkway, take exit 82 (heading east).  Go through 5 lights (5th light is Washington St).  Picture Perfect's on the right, just after Midas.  From the west, Rte 70 east to Rte 37.  Pass the Parkway entrance, proceed as above.  From the east, take 37 to the Washington Street jughandle, proceed as above.  Open Tuesday through Saturday 10 to 5.

Background: When Bonny Lyttle first opened Picture Perfect in 1980, it was a small second floor do-it-yourself frame shop.  Subsequent moves have brought her to a charming Cape Cod house with multiple gallery areas in which to browse.

Bonny has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Arcadia University, and both she and Debra Johnson, her competent manager, are Certified Picture Framers.  Between them, they have over 60 years framing experience!   Bonny's art background and love of detail have served her well.  Her calligraphy graces not only artwork from the shop, but also many wedding invitations.  Her unique ability in creating hand cut mats, hand painted french mats, and wrapped mats is unsurpassed.

 As an active member of the Professional Picture Framers Assn (PPFA) , Bonny served as secretary, vice president, then president of the state chapter.  She has won widespread recognition for her framing and matting, taking over a dozen awards, including four blue ribbons in international competitions, more than any other framer in the state.  PPFA selected her to be a Grand Judge, a distinction given only to multiple national award winners with a CPF who are recognized names in the industry.  She is regularly selected as one of Decor Magazine's Top 100 Art and Framing Retailers.  A frequent author of how-to framing articles, she also gives seminars for national framers.   For the local artists' guilds and community groups, she has been a speaker and judge.
